RMBA] is seeking a highly qualified and enthusiastic High School Science Teacher who is versatile and skilled in teaching a variety of science subjects, including but not limited to Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fostering scientific curiosity and critical thinking among high school students, and the ability to adapt instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners across multiple science curriculums. This role requires the ability to create engaging, rigorous, and relevant science experiences that encourage student exploration, experimentation, and discovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver high-quality instruction in multiple science disciplines (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, •
• Environmental Science, and possibly other science electives).
• Design and implement curriculum and lesson plans that align with state and national science standards and integrate real-world applications.
• Create a dynamic, student-centered classroom environment that encourages active participation, inquiry-based learning, and problem-solving.
• Utilize a variety of instructional strategies, including hands-on experiments, demonstrations, multimedia resources, and technology tools to facilitate learning.
• Assess students’ understanding and progress through quizzes, tests, projects, lab reports, and ongoing formative assessments.
• Foster scientific thinking and promote the development of essential science skills, such as observation, analysis, and hypothesis testing.
• Provide individualized instruction to accommodate different learning styles, abilities, and academic needs.
• Maintain a safe and organized laboratory environment, ensuring proper handling of scientific equipment and materials.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design interdisciplinary lessons and projects that integrate science with other subjects.
• Support students' social-emotional development and well-being, providing mentorship and guidance as needed.
• Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student progress, assignments, and behavior.
• Participate in school events, professional development activities, and faculty meetings.
• Remain current with developments in the field of science education and continuously seek professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science Education, Secondary Education, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Strong background and versatility in teaching multiple science subjects (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, and Environmental Science).
• Demonstrated ability to create engaging lesson plans and adapt instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Proven experience in teaching high school students, with a focus on fostering critical thinking and scientific inquiry.
• Familiarity with current trends in science education, including inquiry-based learning, technology integration, and STEM education.
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and students.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand and move around the classroom and laboratory for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift and carry science materials, equipment, and supplies.
• Comfort with using laboratory equipment and chemicals safely and effectively.

Salary:

Commensurate with experience.
