Students will participate in an activity called: Animal Count
Student groups will identify individual animals and place each in its appropriate group: mammal, bird, reptile, amphibian, fish, insect, spider, or other invertebrate in a bar graph. Using the graph, they determine which group is most abundant in the park.
After their learning activity, they will go across to the Newcastle Park for lunch and play.
